Tanz im August

I did those illustrations for TANZ IM AUGUST, an international festival for contemporary dance. It's taking place at HAU (Hebbel am Ufer) Berlin, venue for theatre & arts. The illustrations are based on an interview with Frances Chiaverini & Robyn Doty about their blog 'Whistle While You Work'. With their project they address structural deficits in the dance sector and make room for discussion of topics like sexism, abuse of power and poor working conditions. To mention a highlight (besides this serious topic): the mag was printed with two spot colours – silver & orange.
